A Little Bit About Me
For the past decade, yoga has been a growing part of my life. My
entire being- mind, body, and soul, has benefited from my yoga
practice and learning to live a yogic lifestyle. My first formal
training was in Massage Therapy. As a part of my massage clientele
personal care, I offered yogic stress-relief techniques and various
yoga postures, gearing them to benefit the client's specific needs. In
2003, through Sun Moon Yoga Studios in Mankato MN, I
completed my first 100-hours of Yoga Teacher Training and began
offering formal yoga classes after receiving several requests from
my clients. Over the course of several months, in my clients I saw
dramatic improvement in their stress management, physical
conditions, and emotional well-being as they began and deepened
their yoga practice with me.

In May of 2006 I was able to complete my second 100-hours of
teacher training, thus allowing me to become a Registered Yoga
Teacher with Yoga Alliance. Namaste to Mona and Mel for the
beautiful time I had in their presence.

Thanks to the support of local communities, I am now offering
yoga in the beautiful little towns of Hackensack and Pine River. I
feel deeply honored to be able to share my love of yoga and passion
for living a healthy, balanced, and peaceful life.

In addition to Yoga and
Massage, I am also a Usui and Karuna
Reiki Master, as well as a Certified
Shamanic Practitioner. Within
every class I weave information about the energetic body, chakras,
and overall energy awareness. I also incorporate a variety of
movments from other sources of wellness- QiGong, Tai Chi, Pilates,
and more.

Each class is unique and offers great opportunity to learn and grow
and learn how to live a healthy and happy life.

By the way, the dragonfly within the circle that you see on several
pages is actually my tattoo that I received in 2006. It's a sacred
symbol for me and rests on my heart chakra.
